I am thinking about bagging my 54 chevy 210 deluxe. I want to see what you did with your floor pans to make everything fit?

Also, it the modification small enough that the factory carpet will fit back into the car and not fall short on any of the edges?

FOr those that are running carpet, did you just go custom? How much did the custom carpet cost?

Also, did you have to modify the steel seat framing to allow for the larger driveshaft arch?

I am asking these questions because I am working on the floors right now and if I need to cut the driveshaft tunnel up I want to do it now rather than later.

Pics would be great but your words would help too!

Floor pans? only thing u need to cut is the driveshaft tunnel and trunk area where u notch, and why would you cut the driveshaft tunnel before you do any of that? You dont know how high and how far to cut it. wait till you notch etc.. then do it, step by step. and yes you have to modify back seat but again after you do the rest. and that stock carpet is likley not gonna fit.

Do some searching tonns of threads about baggin these cars here losts of usful info

Well I was hoping that I could get some insight because a bagged 54 is common and a general number for how much deeper the driveshaft tunnel needs to be should be available.

    But, I understand your point.

The "how to" you created, is great
