Cool! I think the turquoise paint is holding it back, but hey -- to each his own.

    I kinda like it.

The wheel and tire combo is right on in my opinion.
I don't know if I woulda used that particular body style, but hell....what else are you gonna do with it? [IMG] [IMG]

    Looks good.

Who owns it? Does anyone know anything about it?

I thought it was pretty cool but, it's a photo shop! The rear wheel looks disperportionate to the body size. It would be pretty fuckin cool, someone out there should build one!

I think a 544 would be worth the efford of photshopping, the 122 is a boring car.

I dig it. I'm really surprised these aren't being built up overseas in vast numbers, in one form or another. Hmmm... gasser-style, pro-street style, lead-sled style, hmmm...

volvos are generally considerd unworthy and not accepted really into the hotrod/custom/american car scene, its good enough as a daily or winter car but the cool factor is just not there, its a grannys car, even if you build an real hot gasser or custom its never worth big money here,
their value has risen the past year yes, but an chopped 122 done in a custom style i just not well, its just nothing that really catches attention here, like people look when they walk buy, but people stop and look at an chopped mercury or hotrod etc

personally i think volvos etc are good as dailys but nothing i would spend to much money or time on, but my studebakers and kaisers and buicks and model a's are...

This car use to drive around my city. I believe the guy was from a small town nearby:

Being a multi-volvo owner at the time, I thought it was kind of cool. Definately the only 544 running around town at the time. I haven't seen it for a couple years though.

    Hmmm, funny photoshop.

Years ago, a buddy of mine put a 383 small block Chevy in a bone stock looking, chocolate brown, 4-door 240.

He was always picking races with guys in Hondas and other cars, and then he would totaly spank them. It was pretty damn funny!

Someday I'll get around to doing something with a Volvo P-1800 coupe. Might start by getting it in the garage before winter. [IMG]

My Daily Driver is a 262C Bertone Coupe (2 Door Chopped Top Volvo) with a 5.0 and a 5 Speed. Fun to drive and a sleeper.

It turned into an engagement ring. It's not on topic for this board, but it's a pretty common V8 swap canidate. I liked it.. But I've got a soft spot for Volvo 240s...
