    This is a very cool car. I remember seeing pictures of it years ago sitting in a garage unrestored. Very Nice.

    That is surprisingly nice and somewhat restrained for the era. Captain Monotone should have made some molds while he was at it. Pretty elegant.

    I thought Groucho was loosing it when he posted a fiberglass Merc. I was expecting something like Street Beasts! Yikes!

    that is very nice. I love the old concept cars. they had a lot of imagination and creativity.

    MERC-Ticulous in every way, sensational restoration , the passion is obbvious, congrates..........but I'm wondering If the 'Designer' had any thing to do with the designing of the 'Studebaker Hawk' ,the Mercury's rear treatment around the 'Trunk',has 'shadows' of Hawk.....................regards427

    WOW it is too bad they didn't make more of them like the guy said it would of been in steel if more were made.Strange design but I like the art concept of it.

    I agree with Thunder. The back certainly has a Hawk flavor to it. Don't know of any connection with designers.
