I would like to talk to someone that has some knowlage about the GM family Zero blocks that are used in a good # of Opels and Vaxhaul. These would be the 1.0L - 1.4L blocks (not sure what the CC equvilent would be). If you have experience with these please PM me so I can see if you can help me out. Thanks

  2. 61 cubic inches to a liter.

Easy way to remember, a 427 Ford is 7 liters so you can just run the math to obtain CID.

More accurately, 16.387064cc to a cubic inch; 1000cc to a litre.

    We get the 1364cc four in Opels here: 73.4mm x 80.6mm = 1364.197cc.

    That's 83.248 cu. in.
Or 13.36 RAC horsepower rating, if you like.

hmm pretty sure all 1 litre engines are 3 cylinder, certainly the ones they made about 4/5 years ago were. Pretty miserable little thing.

The 1.4 of, say 10 years ago or less is better, if you look at the front of the block where the bellhousing meets up you should see an engine number and the engine code, might be something like C14XE.. that helps with ID.

what do you need to know about em?
