Folks Of Interest 1957 automobiles and memorabilia for sale

I need a lone, just make the check out for "a bunch." Kind of shock to see the Patch
collection up for sale on Ebay. This is one of the best collections that I've ever seen.
I wonder how much the 67 1957 cars will sell for. $$$$

The Ford and Chevy stock cars would be interesting to own.

 

I heard he wanted to put the collection together because he thinks there were NO ugly cars manufactured in 1957. Styling-wise, all makes had a good year in 1957, many of them made their best cars ever.

Of course I am a little biased.

Hate to see it broken up, but I'm not surprised either...

 

I took the virtual tour on the web page and all I can say is WOW!!!!

 

If he wants 2 million....then thats about 30k a car...Plus you get all the neon and panarama stuff...

 

The $2 Million hadn't hit the reserve yet. If you get the chnace you guys need
to go check it out before it is gone.....I couldn't believe something that kool could
be in Branson.

Interested to see what it will end up selling for.

Damnit.....I was in Branson for Thanksgiving, and didn't stop by to see that place.........Now I may never see it.

 

Fantastic collection and an amazing display it's in. Hate to see it go and be dismantled. Wish I had a gajillion smackaroos..... Hey Mickey, if you can scrounge up half a gajillion, I might be able to come up with the other half. Then all we gotta do is convince Larry Watson to come over and paint them all in authentic 1957 Watson's House of Color paint jobs. Now, THAT would be a cool collection!

 

Is he claiming this to be a real SEDCO black widow?
I thought there were no known black widow survivors?
Doesn't appear to have the fuel injection cross flags on the rear quarters either.

Wow, I could totally do the dilapidated, rusted out piece of **** version of this museum in my garage. I've got crusty cars, motel signs, bowling alleys, bars, pedal cars, soap box derby cars, quarter midgets, drive in theater stuff, kitchens, and vintage dead mice all over the place. I could theme it as "the cool collection...after the war".

This is an amazing collection. I can't imagine owning a single nice thing. It kind of proves my theory that if all of your stuff looks like ****, it's okay. You are consistent. If you go and fix one of them up, the rest of your stuff looks awful and then you have to fix everything.

I'm guessing the bidders here are museums and not individuals.

 

I'll just take one of those '57 Merc ragtops and you guys can do whatever with the rest! lol

 

Does anyone know what happened with this? I was watching it and last I saw it was to $2,275,100.

Next time I looked it was gone.

 

ebay pulled it for misrepresentation

 

They're asking $17 million for the collection......ebay bids weren't even close

 

I just read they are having a auction to auction off all the cars from the 1957 Museum in Branson. :-( Thats my favorite place when I visit my sister in MO. So sad to see it go.
