Blown DeSoto Roadster On It's Way

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 345 DeSoto, Aug 6, 2009.

  1. FINALLY picked up my engine and pieces/parts today! Everything depends on the block/transmission being mounted to proceed...setting the rear end angle to weld up everything, steering location, brake pedal location, etc. Was at pretty much of a standstill till then. I bolted up the ****** and slung the whole thing in to check clearences and fit. Once it was in, I piled everthing onto it that I could to load the front suspension to see how it sits. Everything looked great. Tomorrow I'll get all the angles and measurements I need, then take everything off the engine, pull it out, and and start the build. SHOULD have fire in the boiler in a week or so...:D
