Moved back to Texas last fall after 43 yr absence. Great to see all the young blood doing old stuff better than we often did. (Inlcuding my son, who introdued me to the Jalopy Journal) I've been riding and racing motorcycles since I was 14, started drag racing in 1970. Including a picture of my 56 Chev pu. and 40 Chev coupe. I've been a dealership mechanic, owned my own shop, etc. etc. Last 15 yrs or so I've been making my living in insurance sales and services and I'm looking to get back to my roots in auto repair, restoration, racing, whatever. Anyone in the Houston area have any ideas for employment for an older model with a lot of good miles left ? I can weld, some machine work,mechanic, paint, etc.
