I need a 1936 Ford Water pump thrust washer to complete a rebuild I am doing, the kit did not contain one. The thrust washer installs in the very front of the pump to control the end play and keeps the fan from moving forward & backward. The old one got destroyed taking the pump apart and I've lost it. I don't really know what its composition or size was. Is this something I can buy from an Auto Parts store, machine shop, etc. What can I subs***ute or use that will work?
