hey whats up kids... for the most part ive basically into bikes..but i love the hot rods..I dont know the year of the pickup..but i do know it has a running 327 in it..possibly a kaiser vigilante 327..or it could be a chevy.dont know. as for the styling..the styling of those didnt change for like twenty years..what i have in mind for it is a major chop, z'ed frame big channel so it s****s the ground..hehe..i also want to convert the truck into an open wheel vehicle..with a open wheel front end..like a model A pickup..I want this truck to be one of a kind, I think i can achieve this with the fact that its a willys pickup and it has a engine in it that nobody really uses for a hotrod..ive never seen a chopped, channeled open whell willys but if any body has pics plzz post them.i would love to see..ive also taken photos off the net and heacked them to pieces in paintshop...ill post them as soon as i can..tell me what you guys think.. The Goose
it sounds like you really want a 30's truck, I actually like the later square ones too. has jet fuel told you I have a project up for grabs?
i don't know how it'll look without fenders. might be weird... or it might be cool??? Hotroddrummer used to have one with a 400 Pontiac. it was pretty bad***. slotted aluminum mags, fat rubber, slammed in front, slight rake and grey primer!! the ultimate stand out work truck/hot rod!!
it looks real good without fenders....i have some pics i modified in microsoft paint...hehehehe...and it looks pretty ****ing wild..i think it will look good.
i'll be back here tommarow and you better have those pics posted by then or i'll drive all the way to SoCal just to ***** slap you!! now stop teasin and show us the pics!!...i'm going to bed ...
That's what I was wondering, if it was the "g***er" style (37-41) or the square (M715/j10) style, or the "jeepster" style... Anyway you look at it, cool truck. Major score! jay
i sat down with an article on jimmy shines 34' model A truck...and tried to stlye it somewhat after his truck..I shortened the bed.. and converted the front into an open wheel front end...whitewalls..dual carbs..its pretty psychotic looking..and its in my grasp too. its been sitting at my friends grandmas place for like thirty years and it ****ing runs too...so im hoping i can get it for next to nothing..
Not sure what it would look like without fenders, but that's all the more reason someone like you should try it! Could be cool. Looking forward to seeing pics. Dave
