    ...****.

The Henry J has been gone for almost two months, so I have grieved long enough.

I have been after this Studebaker for 2 years, never have quite been able to get the deal done, partly because th eowner had got himself "...incarcerated..."..So, I gave up the Stude and found this Merc.

Bought the Merc, made the deal with BenD (who is the man)to drag it to my crib. Well, the very next day, the Studebaker guy calls. He must have busted himself outta the joint or somthin, cause he is READY to get rid of the car. Drug it home the next day.

The Stude is first and will be ready for the Bonneville/HAMB Drags in 2006.

The Merc will take a little longer, but atleast I found the ****er when I had the chance.

    I'll keep you posted, -Abone.

You shoulda asked. There's a guy here with a '53 Stude with a TRANS AM front clip under it for $700. Your motor mounts would already be in.

Dunno, I called him and he took a LONG time to call me back, so I ended up working with Big Ric on his Hank. I can PM his # to you if you want...and if I can still find it.

My friends' Binneville Stude started out worse than yours, it will really be worth while. Get on it. What are your plans for it?

Ummmm....how bad is that Merc? I happen to know where a Lincoln is shoved off of some train tracks into a ditch...the front is burried and the top is sort of smashed...but there might be some patches here and there to scavenge? Maybe not. I'll try to get some pictures, it's pretty rough.
