The black 32 truck with green wheels was one of my favorites. Very nice truck. THere was a light green 40/41 Ford truck driving around that caught my eye too. Thanks for the pics.
NOpe light green met. with something written on the door. Maybe whitewalls too. I never got to see to see it up close. The A pick up with 12 spokes looks cool. I only seen that one at a gas station on our way to the show. Missed it at the show. Nice pics.
It was! Here is a link to my photos. Not all HAMB material, but all beautiful! http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v254/JeramyT/NSRA Nationals 2009/
Trust someone to put Merc covers on a SBC. WTF? I just don't get the self delusion thing. p.s. thanks for sharing the pics.
Thanks for the shots of the two modifies. The Mutt Special is my car and the other modified is my friends (he's on the HAMB but I'm not sure what he goes by on here). I was blown away that the Mutt Special "won one of the 12 PRO picks. This car was not built to be a "show car" but rather a "driver" and a driver it is! Both cars were built ,painted, interiors and ect. in your shops. My friends body is and all steel hand made body (the back panel is made from a 56 ford truck hood) the only panel from a 27 ford is the top of the cowl just below above the window shield post). We had to leave on Saturday afternoon due to a family issue so I will not be able to attend the Sunday awards show....If they send the award that's fine and if not I already have my award....Me and my friend drove our cars there and back just what they were built for!
I'm sooooooo happy you concentrated on real Hot Rods. Painted, primerd, or raw steel, all your photos are on the + side of that dreded R-R line. Thanks for posting.
Yep that is the one. Nice to eye compared to a lot of others. LOL I was going to post my pics, but you seemed to have posted most of the same ones. ( imagine that, two HAMBers have the same taste in cars. LOL) That maroon 46-48 coupe with the big 5 spokes on the back really sticks in my memory. I liked it even though many would not.
Yeah, that one and the Art Deco Chevy truck with the "Bell Auto Parts" door art... I thought "if only this person had gone with steelies and caps", but then I thought "if he wanted my opinion he would have asked for it, so shut up and take the picture!"
