Thanks! I'm surprised, myself, at how well some of the photos are turning out, especially from a cell phone.
My phone is an LG Dare touchscreen deal. I think it's 3.0 or 3.2 megapixel...

We're headed back out soon - will post some more photos throughout the day!

    You're a man, you never will :D

I'm going to talk to him today and ask for a ride. Will take video's from it if I can. If not, more detailed photos. I love that thing.

the street legal belly tanker was built by and belong to a friend of mine just up the coast from me. He and his wife are wonderful folks. And they have a totally *****in car collection...(one that you'd have to see to really believe.)

They built this car over the last few months (from scratch). It's all period correct with a 54 Olds, w 6 Strombergs, and a transverse leaf front end.
He drove it for the FIRST time on Sunday, and they left fer Bonneville on Wednesday from the Oregon Coastline.

Thanks Nick--this one is my favorite. Looks like a picture from Hot Rod Magazine--way back. (except for the white pickup and ATV)

Is that Seth Hammond? If so, they are in impound to set a record return run this morning.

    Chris

There was an accident yesterday on the long course, the 216 car crashed and the news is not good on the SCTA site. Barry Bryant was driving the 34' ford coupe with the stretched out nose, and he crashed @ the 5 mile.

I was talking to my buddy last night. He said this is the hangar where they prepped the Enola Gay B-29, before it's trip to Hiroshima. They had a BBQ there yesterday.
