ive got a 27t and am cramming a 429 in it. the car is going to have a short wheelbase, cuz i dont like cars that are too stretched out, i like to keep it proportional. but since its shorter, the motor is going to have to come into the cowl. any ideas?

Can you take the body off the ch***is-then mount your motor where you want it-then take as many measurements as you can as to where everything sits, heads, valve covers, headers.
Maybe use the baseline of the ch***is as a reference point.
Then, remove the motor and box, replace body on to ch***is,and mark out all your previous measurements and see what you have to cut????
It will be a little extra work-but well worth it!!
    Hope this helps-El-Richo
