ive got a 27t and am cramming a 429 in it. the car is going to have a short wheelbase, cuz i dont like cars that are too stretched out, i like to keep it proportional. but since its shorter, the motor is going to have to come into the cowl. any ideas?
Can you take the body off the ch***is-then mount your motor where you want it-then take as many measurements as you can as to where everything sits, heads, valve covers, headers. Maybe use the baseline of the ch***is as a reference point. Then, remove the motor and box, replace body on to ch***is,and mark out all your previous measurements and see what you have to cut???? It will be a little extra work-but well worth it!! Hope this helps-El-Richo
is it just firewall or is it into the top of the cowl? here is littlemans rod, he had to cut into the cowl, cant find pics of it finished but there is some food for thought. he had thread on here but i could not find it. www.littlemansspeedandfabrication.com
