Haha! That's DaPhantom (my fiance, Vanessa of the Voodoo Dolls). I'm in the background looking goofy, as usual. Thanks, by the way. I tattooed those guns on her. LOL (the muscles are all her, though)

Alan, great pics and a fun show. Can't wait til next year. I'll have my truck in paint by then and have it slammed down a bit. Wouldn't want folks to confuse my truck for a RR.

Thanks for posting these. I'm glad you got a good photo of our "Best Hot Rod" trophy. I worked my booty off on that (and I'm Irish. I don't have any booty to spare) and I never got a photo of it. I think I'll swipe yours, if you don't mind.

and therein is what makes a good show for me.

Here is a secret... Billetproof is really about hanging out with your friends and making new ones.... shhhhhhh... dont tell anyone ;). There are happen to be a ton of traditional hot rods and customs there and that just makes it better.

    Thanks for the great photos.

Plans are already in the makins for next years show.

  9. Great pics, THANKS! Although I DO have to agree with BEEP - No matter how well that you plan it, SOMEONE will ***** about SOMETHING. If you had beautiful girls in bikinis serving free cold beer at the registration table, someone would complain that they "should have brought the beer to my car instead of making me come all the way to the table to get it". Don't worry about those *****s.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but it seems that there is already some discussion on what the difference is between a "good" event and a "great" event here... So... Some friends of mine and I want to host an "old school / traditional car, truck & bike" event here near the east coast of Virginia in September (I have already helped with, staffed, and planned a LOT of decent sized car shows and fun runs in the area, so I'm definitely not a newbie at that sort of thing). We have a rockabilly band signed up already, and a restaurant / bar that has an outdoor stage and plenty of parking, and it is all for an awesome charity that supports deployed troops (The Pinup Angels).

Anyone have any other suggestions on how to make it a "great" event??? Anyone want to volunteer their services to design a cool flier??? I'll TRY to start another thread with "Help plan a GREAT car show" (or something similar) in the ***le that you can post ideas to. PM me if you want to do the flier for us.

    THANK YOU!!!
