I don't know who else will be there, but Vintage Torque will be there filming.

Who's coming? More importantly, who's racing? It's getting close, but I think my Econoline will be ready!

We've lined up a garage band and a rockabilly band for inbetween races, too/

We're doing a very limited run of shirts. We've been stuck with boxes of Pileup shirts every year, so we're going a little more conservative on this show. We ordered some 2XL, but that's the biggest we'll have.

Unlike coupe guys... it seems as though the only piece of equipment they are required to have are mini-van seat belts and a helmet!!!:D

If you don't p*** tech... at least it'll be a "COOL" show with good food and plenty of action!

I'll bring my safety gear just in case someone else feels the need to run their Roadster!!!

Im thrashing on the valiant to get it back together for sunday. I broke an adjuster on a rocker arm, wasting some other valve train in the process. I hope to have it on the road for a shakedown run tomorrow.

Saturday - Six hours of driving (round trip) but much fun at Symco. We will come next year!

Sunday - Twenty minutes of driving (round trip) and plenty of fun at Hunnert Car Heads Up. Next year we come to race!

Monday - After a good night's sleep, all I have to show is some kinda chest cold thing I woke up with and I'm still too beat to post pics.... tonight I will!

Many thanks to the organizers and volunteers for both of these fine inaugural events! I met a lot of great HAMBers, too.

what an impressive group of hotrodders! I was glad to see you guys running and appreciated a nice bunch of hotrods in the show area. Good thing you were there, if not for you and us G***ers, the place would have been dead!

It was hot, but there was a nice steady breeze all day, so it wasn't too bad.

We had a great turn out in the show area, even though we had to share it with the Super Chevy guys. We didn't know that was happening until we got there. It was our first time, so there were bound to be bugs. Fortunately, they were all minor.

I think the racers were about 1/3 HCHU, 1/3 Midwest G***ers, and 1/3 Super Chevy, so at least 2/3 of the cars were cool. :D

The BamaLamas ROCKED, and Johnny Murder & the 25 to life filled in for Pearls Mahone who had to cancel at the last minute.

BopWop, are you in the Midwest G***ers? Some of those guys need a serious lesson in manners.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the show. I think we were all pretty impressed with the turn out for the first time, and obviously we had a blast.

I'm still sorting through my pics, but here are some that Jester took. Pics of note are of Jester breaking his rear end on his last p*** in his '57 wagon, and check out the guy that tore the center out of his Torque Thrusts!!!

Thanks for putting this on guys, hot sticky and watching cool cars run the strip...who could ask for more! Next year hopefully i'll be techable and be able to run.
A buddy that also went, just payed at the gate, no questions asked...i payed but was asked what i was there for ie... hunnert heads up or super chevy.... told her the heads up and noticed she was making notes. I hope that was to keep track of who was there for what, maybe a closed day for the heads up next year?

    Thanks again for everyone's efforts
