Between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, FOUR Hurst/Olds were stolen from two adjacent hotel parking lots during the Hurst/Olds Club of America 25th National Meet in Indianapolis, Ind. There were over 125 H/O’s in attendance for the Hurst/Olds Club of America 25th National Meet.

Organizers believe this was a calculated “hit,” not a random crime.

“The thieves knew about the show and the kinds of cars it attracted, they knew which cars they wanted, they knew what they were doing and they got us,” said Judy Badgley, an active member with several Oldsmobile clubs...

I was just spreading the work hoping that folks will keep an eye out for these cars. Whether rods or traditional cars, I hate it when cars go missing and get a real delight when the perps are caught.
    Didn't mean to offend.

If it had been your car that was stolen, wouldn't you want everyone to be on the lookout?

I'm sure the owners would appreciate the posts. I know if my car got stolen I wouldn't mind it being posted on a muscle car forum or a Import forum for that matter.

    It's a sad story.

Any descriptions of the stolen cars?

  10. The bastards would jack our cars in a heartbeat too if they got an order for them. I say spread the word, find the jerks, take'm out back and sort'm out.

a White crew cab pick up truck..this is like the 5th or 6th time i have read this in a classic car theft report..this year alone..and i think a few at the end of "08"

    coincidence? i think not..

    organized crime?
    definetly
