Just a quick wazzup and hello

I am in the process of gather knowlage,parts and the do and don'ts,on my first build.Some thing I have wanted to do for as long as I can remember.Have been laid up with cancer (please no poor Dusty)I'm here I,m breathing and this is going to my present to me. I am a machinist (retired) and have a pretty good circle of gearheads around me. I want this to be my build,not into the yuppie turn key types.I ask for every type of info,sugestions and how to's. I live in Connecticut so I am surrounded with,just buy this and you'll be in. If you don't have grease under your finger nails I don't want to know. I want true Rodding,if you can't find it build it.Thanx for letting me on your site,Dusty
