"ovaltine" takes it's first drive around the block!!

well, i took it for a spin around the block for the first time ever!! still have some clutch adjustment issues, but overall i'm pretty happy. still lots to do, but i'm glad to finally reach this milestone!!

we're takin the stude to the exhaust shop this weekend...it'll be a driver after that!

i still have to fab an alternator mount, and get some gauges in mine. the brakes are a little soft, so fix a few little things and it'll be better. nowhere near done, lots of welding to do!! finish the chop,floors,inner bed,etc....then body work, paint......

ha ha..it's rust!! this is the same one that i started over at R.C.'s place in krum! seems like it's taking forever, but i'm getting there!

 

Just saw the post. Dude! thats about the best news ever. I was wondering about the Ovaltine just the other day. Its all down hill from here. Shoot, I had the new engine in my roadster two days before I took it to the Drags! Let me know if I can come over and hand you a wrench or duct tape.
