That's probably why I dont watch that channel anymore. Everytime I check to see what's on it, a NASCAR race is on. I hate nascar!!! Anyway.... In a great southern drawl! "Hey, you got a NASCAR." "Thanks, you got a NAS CAR too!!"
Had the old lady not bought a flat-screen last year, I'd have thrown the damn TV out completely already! My old set was on its last legs, and I was looking forward to the day it would die and there would be no more TV in my house. But, no. The wife went out and got a nice flat-screen "for my birthday", so we are stuck until this one ****s out. Honestly, there are about 24 hours of TV i even care to watch throughout the year! SPEED ****s ***! Dave DeSpain...he ****s these days, too, since he is all about NA$CAR now, and that's about it. That dumb*** show that that "pro" r***ler does is BS. I kinda like "Wrecked" and "Jacked", but they do not belong on SPEED. Like SPEED isn't worth a **** anymore, neither is History or any of the other "specialty" channels. It is all garbage for the uneducated anymore.
Yeah, I miss the 'ol SpeedVision - it was kick ***, you got to see all kinds of REAL racing from all over the world. We Loved it. Now SPEED ****s *** - You either get NAS**** or 'reality' shows - like we really needed another channel full of reality tv - Especially 'Wrecked'...what the hell does that have to do with either racing or speed? I would love to *****-slap who ever is in charge over there. Damn I miss SpeedVision...
Good car tv shows are getting few and far between! Getting sick of those lame reality shows where every time phony drama! stupid deadlines! and bad ideas! Come on make a good one!
I cancelled our cable and parked the tv in the ba*****t in June. Don't really miss it at all...99% of all tv shows today ****.
Legends of motorsports was a cool show, I also liked FIA world rally, those guys have some big balls. Good-wood festival of speed was great too. Its really sad the trash that's on there now.
Last Sat they had a Hot Rod episode on The Black Widow. Kinda cool but I wish they would have went into the build more like they do on Rides. Plenty of Grand-Am races, Speed GT/Touring, Moto GP and F1 coverage. Get a friggin' DVR. I do wish they had more dirt racing though.
Yeah years ago I was on 2nd shift and could find somekind of racing on Speedvision when I came home...Loved the diesel trucks racing in Europe at 1 am. I had it when I had Dish last year, and thought it had gone down hill then I whiched to cable and it is offered in a higher priced packaged. not worth it, if I remember right when I had it on Dish there was a lot of dirt bike racing on. for pete's sake figgen dirt bikes !!!
Got the flat screen up in the garage Can't get any digital channels except little squares since the air change of the government bulll ****py So now I plug in c/d s of Bonneville salt flats so I have some noise in the backround of motors since speed doesn't do it any more !!!!
So thats what happed to speedvision. nascar bought a 1/4 mile track up here and in two years it was out of business.
My cable co took speed off my package 4-5 years ago. I called to complain, they said for another 5 bucks a month I could get it back. I told them to cancel everything. No TV at all now since then. Glad to hear I'm not missing anything.
What's up with the Oprah channel? At 2 in the morning it turns into the ****** shopping channel. Oprah's channel sellling *****'s seems odd to me. What was the question?
