So this weekend I traded my model A for this 56 ford what ya guys think?

The model a is cool but i love me a 56 ford!! Nice car.

And I MISS my A...( 'course it was a coupe...) lol...

 

well thats good to hear haha no reach around but i had to deliver the A to kansas. the 56 needs some things though like shocks and the front and rear emblem but its over all a really solid car

looks like a good trade. that 56 looks pretty solid. and its cool it has the stainless trim.

 

yup has the stainless and i found the headliner bows and the rear piece of stainless that goes around the emblem in the trunk

 

Ditto! The design of those cars is real easy on the eyes, and in mho, they have one of the best looking dashes ever. You done good!

Yes the dash is great but i like the clear bubble on top of the gauge cluster that the 55 had.

I've always like 56 fords.

 

I like the A better, now if this is for daily driving I'd take the 56 . But as a hot rod the A is my choice... but that's just me and I ain't you.

I got the car from mulvane kansas. I plan on redoing the suspension because it rides really bad. I'm going to straighten out the body a little better and do a gloss black with a flake roof, spot lights, lake pipes, chrome reverse wheels, and finish out the interior, but before I do anything as of last night I need to put a new ****** in it because out of no where it was like it jumped into park while driving and now it has no gears at all everything is like neutral. It has a 302 with a c4 in place of the y block though so should be pretty easy getting a ******
