First off Tandy never made a "supercomputer", so your attempt at l33t humor is a m***ive fail. And yes I did use Tandy model III's and IV's in the late 70's early 80's. :p As for that thread, a simple search really. Sometimes you have to look past the first page of results. And they are called archives.

    Here's mine on my 53 5-window.
My brother did the design and I had them done in vinyl for now to see if I would like them before spending the money for paint! I love them on the truck and they totally work with the interior (where I got the inspiration for the name from). Changed the look big time when combined with the WWW's and 5 spokes.

speaking of vinyl... cool truck by the way... I thought about doing a vinyl logo like you did to see how it looked... but was afraid it would look cheap... wonder if there is a way on the vinyl to fake a paint stroke and distress of the brush. Certainly would be a cheaper method... im looking at about 300 bucks to get the doors painted. or 60 for the vinyl.

There was a garage in the town I grew up in that was named "Joe's Texaco". My Dad worked on the stock car the guy owned back in the 80's.

Sounds like me and 65fordguy have similar minds...

Much like you, I'm thinking to do some door art as a tribute to my dad. Here's my design so far (photoshopped to look weathered)

    old thread I know but...

There are some cool *** trucks on here and yours has to be one of the best. The color with the WW and 5 spoke is perfect and the potato sack door panel just adds to it's originality.

Not the best pics, but all I had.. I did all the art on Vinyl, it looked good and wqs removable if I needed.

The Dessert Rat is art I filtched and modified for my old LandRover
The Cop Car was an advert for my shop (details not seen in this picture) and the Decal on the truck was over the old patina'ed paint. It looked suprisingly good. .. yeah.. collecting Xmas trees for the Scouts.. we don't get a lot of snow...
