Sweet. Is it bagged or is the body mounted low on the chassis? Post pictures of the under hood area and the rest of the truck if you can.......

I like the subtle tubbing with extra fender tops, looks cool. Sometimes I miss my Stude!

Thanks for the kind words guys, the truck is not bagged just dropped over the frame. The swap took lots of time but was not hard. We kept the S-10 floors and firewall in their stock locations and fit the Studebaker metal around them. This is going to be my every day driver so I wanted a reliable truck, all of the ABS, A/C, 4cyl, 5 speed, everything is stock S-10. I will have it at the HAMB drags in August.

Got any pics of the swap? I am still trying to decide on the route I want to go with mine.

I'm working a 56. Wish my body was in good enough shape to leave it with the original finish. But is was not to be. Only thing I might do is to move the front bumper back toward the body a bit. I don't like them sticking out in space. If you do that Its a good idea to retain as much of the sheetmetal between the frame rails as possible as it helps keep the air flowing toward the radiator.

    Cool truck.

    looks pretty cool ,

  13. I'm not fond of the stock Baker bumper either . This is a mid 90's Ford truck narrowed , sides shortened and a "D" shaped opening formed into the center

I'm starting my '56 soon and was thinking about using a Dakota. Any thoughts? Any advice or warnings you can give?
