I was reading through all the write-ins, especially about where to eat. A question, can we, as spectators bring our own food and drink to the drags? Is there seating or do I need my own chairs? Since I haven't been there before I don't know what is allowed.
I also for got to say come and eat free doughnuts at Rynos house and maybe an energy drink (go duck hunting with a rake)
Things to bring: Primary items: Beer, sunblock, chairs Secondary items: Beer, food, shade Tertiary items: Beer, camera, a smile Oh, be sure and remember the beer
I have stricked orders to find out where Rynos is! Since we have never been to the drags before my little lady wants a donut!! Looking forward to meeting you guys!
You need to bring your own beer (no drinking by drivers however) but we should have at least three operating concession trailers, with burgers, nachos, chicken baskets, hot dogs, etc. and Don's Texas Beans and BBQ. We don't restrict out side food, but why not let us cook for you!
Absolutely! The only thing better than good drag strip food is good drive-in food, and Mokan's got it goin' on. (I personally like the mudhole(?) burger with some jalopenos ) My .02. YMMV.
Dogone hillbilly painters will eat just about anything. The food is good at the track and it's reasonable. Hey Mike, see 'ya there.
as a couple of others have said, "buy your food at the track consession stand." carl has always been super to us; the least we can do is support the track by buying a burger or two.
Thanks guys. Buy from us if you can, but it don't hurt our feelings if you want to cook. Pretty sure Texas Don will be on the spec side with the "Texas Beans and BBQ" wagon, and we are trying to get a second pit concession open with fries and chicken strips.
the 1st year we went, i thought i wasn't gonna get stuck eating ****py track food, so we stopped and picked up a pizza on the way. well, the pizza was horrible and i was sorry. lesson learned, eat at mokan!
