Can someone crawl under their 33-34 car and show me how the rear bumper bracket bolt together.

Im in the process of collecting more parts and Im a little far away to just go look at my car. Im looking at the brackets on e-bay and the repo ones and all I see is the two u-shaped brackets. If I remember correctly, my rear frame rails end before the tail pan with the two holes in it, thus there must be some sort of brackets under the tail pan to bolt to the frame.

Attached is a pic of the car.

    Thanks.

The rear bumper irons attach through the tank cover to brackets on the rear spreader bar. I can take photos if you aren't sure what that means. Bill

As already posted the mounting brackets for your rear bumper braces are dog legs off the ends of your rear spreader bar. If you have just a straight tube spreader bar these are probably missing. The dog legs align with the dimple in the gas tank cover, the u shape brackets bolt on at the gas tank cover dimples. Word of caution if you are purchasing used rear bumper brackets 33-36 brackets all look similar but they all have different bolt spans. The most confusion is with the 33's vs the 34's, 33's have a wider span than 34's.

The holes in the frame rails are for the cross bar flanges. The flanges have mounting ears which go up to the bumper bar mount bumps in the gas tank cover so the bumper braces can be mounted there. In the center of the crossbar is the spare tire mount support bracket.
That rear bar does a lot of work in a 33-34.

Gentlemen, My rear spreader bar is just a straight tube. Can someone take a couple of pictures of the brackets (dog leg brackets), preferably on the car?

Alright, I am missing those. I dont think mine has the center support brackets either, but Im not totally certain there. Can I get a set of the brackets in REPO? Or am I now stuck to looking at making my own or finding another spreader bar with them already on it?

Don't think anyone makes a stock-style bar with the correct ends and/or the spare support brackets. You're looking HAMB classifieds, swap meets or eBay for that piece.
