Jo Bros video gets good at 2:52. Cars & dry lake bed

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by seesko, Aug 13, 2009.

  1. I have 2 girls, 11 & 13. They LOVE the Jonas Bother(Beatle/Monkees wannabes). They are a Disney creation like Hannah Montana.
The girls are crazy about them so I know about them too. More than I want to.
They have a video with song called "Paranoid". No, not the Black Sabbath song. It's their own. Actually it's one of their better songs.
At about 2:52 thru the video it gets interesting to car guys:). Stick it out if you can. :Dhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTqzxiNHUN4

When did HAMB cease to be a 'Tradional Hot Rod' board? Please take your Jonas Bros info to a teeny-bopper's board and quit wasting space here.

    Geezuz...............

Wow! I didn't think anybody would notice. It was quite an experience out on the dry lake bed that turned into an eighteen hour day for a few seconds of video. Here's a bit of a better look at my car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJtI-am3UOs

    Honestly,

I used to think the same thing about the Jonas Bros., till a friend of mine told me a story about them. See I volunteer at a childrens hospital here in Texas for a radio station and we have various "celebrities" that the kids love come in and interact with the children. I can't tell you how many celebrities we contact. The Jonas Bros. have always been very willing to help out. Just so happens one of our patients dying wishes was to see them in concert, and the Jonas Bros. made it happen, and even set up a meet and greet with the young girl. Say what you will about their music, but being a good humanitarian says something. Now don't get me started on that ***** Miley Cyrus who has turned us down every time we contacted her.

Not to mention there is something to be said about the guys if they dig the same kind of bad *** cars we do. Nice ride "totallycustom."

Thanks Knucklehead, that's good to know. I was only around Nick Jonas on location, but the kid was very polite and respectful. Something that is not always seen in a sixteen year old with the world by the tail.

It was a clone car owned by a guy in Los Angeles. Nobody was willing to put a real GT out there on the dirt!

The Muntz TRJ coverage demonstrated a what a clever concept you conceived with that car. You added to that a flawless style and execution. Kudos for that alone aside from the video role. I had wondered if you were indeed the car owner when I first saw it as your avatar.

That is one hell of a compliment. Thank you. There is nothing quite as fulfilling as affirmation, and positive feedback.

  28. Ok no offense but I just watched about 3 minutes of a boy band in order to see about 5 or 6 seconds of a blond in what appears to be a hup mobile driving by a cute little boy in a Mustang.

    I guess I don't understand.

I was round when the monkeys were around and for the time period there car (actually it belonged to the film studio) was pretty cool. But I probably wouldn't post a Monkey's episode so everyone could see it.

Anyway, I'd like to see more of the custom if someone wants to post some shots of it.

Actually, Disney mandated the shoulder belts on the car, as they know youngsters will be watching. They are trying to set an example, and keep teens safe.
