Truthfully I would prefer 15 spokes on it, not 100 spokes, just a stock appearing spoke wheel. Thats just me. I see your car as more of a slick cruiser than a muscle car. I think the torq thrust are a more muscle car wheel. But in the end its what makes YOU happy that matters. Keep on Keepin on.
It looks just right. Back in the mid-60's, I had a very decent looking black '62 Studebaker Lark convertible, with a black top & red & white interior. I bought a set of tires that had a 3/8" "furrow' that ran along along the sidewall. I bought some red tire paint & painted my own redlines & I must say that it looked really great because it picked up the red color in the interior..just like your '61. I couldn't afford the mags, though (in fact I couldn't even afford the redlines).
Hmmmm, I liked the wires too. The Trorque Thrusts look more aggressive. Neat, you can change out the wires for crusiing, or if you are feeling the car needs to look more aggressive, put the wires back on. Best of both worlds.
Ok, so I think you might have just won me over wit hthe new wheels. I love the look of the wires, but these pics have changed my mind
