There is a guy selling some wheels I want with MT front runners on them. I am more interested in the wheels than the tires but he is selling as a set and charging accordingly. Anyone know if those things are streetable?

    from nowhere...

Are they true "Front Runners"...or the pro-streety "Sportsman" tires?
I'd stay away from running the e.t. fronts on the street... The Sportsman tires, are O.K. on the street.
Hmmm...Maybe with a light car, not so bad, but if any local authorities wanna break your balls, the lack of a DOT rating on the sidewall says they can.

They are front runners off a drag car. The car is fairly light 56 chevy 150 but I dont want to have major driveability issues

Curb weights 3,100 lbs thats lighter than a fiberglass firebird or camaro. It sounds too iffy anyway especially if Im gonna be taking my kid for rides in it.

ET fronts are racing only & not DOT rated.
Sportsman fronts are DOT rated for street use. I only ran the 8 ply Sportsman fronts on street on the 55.

Maybe I will pick them up anyway $80 for a pair of cragar ss with the MT tires is a pretty good deal. Im sure someone in hambland could use the tires on their drag car.

I run them on the street with my nova. No problems at all.
