Larry is a hell of a nice guy, would do anything for you even if he just met you. Everyone keep and eye out for this car. I believe the body is solid white now, but everything else is the same. The straight axle is chrome and has some minor surface rust from age. It is a real nice set up that bolts into the stock Mustang subframe. Last time I saw it, it had Cragar SST mags on it.
Post a pic asap I'll be at Woodward in Detroit Mi this weekend and when I get back I'll be on the alert in Ontario Canada
It's a white fastback, with pink hoodstripes under the white paint. It's a 4 speed car with a 289. Wish I took pics of it before it got nabbed. I'll hit Larry up, and see if he has some pics..
Sorry fellas, pics are fuzzy. They were taken by my cell of the pics they have. Car is/was currently white, but pics are before repaint. The rear fenderwells have been radiused with flairs.
Did someone post pics of this car before?? I know I have seen a pic of that 3rd member before somewhere online... -Dean
I believe that car was on ebay a while back with no takers, it never met reserve. Really cool car, I hope the owners get it back.
Rumor is that they found it! I will get in touch with the owner and make sure and post back when I find out for sure..............
Well than thats Kick ***...but it begs this question..did they catch the theifing *******s who took it?
Glad it's good news but gotta tell ya overkillphil your sig line seems a little inappropreate for this thread!
Right up the street from me about a mile or so. It has been recovered. Here's the quote from the local hot rod board: "they broke the steering wheel to get the Club off of it then pushed it over somewhere near the Dollar Saver office into a storage yard. Fortunately they had an auction for back rent on storage units and someone recognized the car. Must have been some teenagers who didn't think it out. That's a good thing." (Dollar Saver store is a dented can store etc.) I haven't heard whether the car was in a storage unit or not. If so, maybe they can backtrack the mofo's.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'll post some more if the paper or some of the locals find out more about it....
I hope they make one hell of an example of them when they catch him. I personally like the cutting hands off if you steal law in some countries. I think id would lower crime rate a bit faster than laws that seem to really work well....
