I maybe wrong, but I believe the 5 window coupe is a 34 Chevy. Either way it's in decent shape and there are 2 more trashed ones, out there, but the Cowls & Firewalls are good.

Actually, Chevy led Ford in calender production by 40% in 1933. In 1934, they led by 10%, Chevy's 620,726 units vs. Ford's 563,921.

    Cool find!

    Nice find!
I'd be all over the '41? Oldsmobile fastback.
Does your Dad own "The Woods" behind his house?
You know, the woods owner owns the cars too, barring any other "storage agreement" claim...
You'd best get a bill of sale from the property owner, even if it's "Dad"!

My dad owns most of the woods, but I'll make sure to check where his property line ends.

the first one is 34-35 chev as they have a longer cowl than the 33 any dashes windshield trim and window garnish moldings for the 34s.

He's lived there almost 6 years but we never explored to woods until this spring because there was a lot of under growth we had to clear, it's only about 4 1/2 acres

I love the Olds fastback. But other than some pieces, I'm not sure what's salvageable. We're talking northern US cars. Ontario Canada or Quebec are not far behind in terms of weather. There are a couple of yards near me that if I sent you some pictures, you'd look at the cars and say "save them".

But on most of them, you can remove the side trim without worrying about the clips because the clips will come right through the fender or door skin because the metal is so badly rotted. The doors are hanging on that Olds for a reason. What a shame.

    Cool find though. Have fun.

  27. Eh, they might be more buildable than you think, usually trim comes off because the clips rot, not the tin. As usual everyone's opinion will differ, it's a matter of if you have the skills and desire to build one, not if it can be done or not, pretty much anything can be built if you want it bad enough.

The 41 Olds fastback is a "Dynamic Cruiser Club Sedan" series 76 if it had the six and series 78 if it had the eight. The one behind it is a 39 Olds. And the Chevy sedan is a 41.
