I hope it goes away. Day of- is a nightmare. Weeks leading up to, and afterward, lots of cool cars, even after dark- cruising, not slowly creeping...

Got too big, too fast, and too corporate...IMO:D

I will be driving from Oklahoma to Detroit that week, I am looking to hook up with a few caravans along the way. I will be shooting the trip for several magazines. Email me if you are interested in being part of it. jefferson@bryantmedia.us

I dont like going there anymore... its a big parking lot, not fun to cruise when ya hardly move! Unless your lucky and get a good parking spot and just watch.

I'm gonna stay in town for Back to the Bricks.

Come up to Pontiac on Saturday to see burn outs, it's a bit looser and less congested in the hood...

  7. I got my car back from the movie set in Ann Arbor last night and hit Wooward for a couple hours on the way back. Saw the Brookwood cruising around. Plan to go again Thursday.

    Woodward was actually pretty good.
I have friends that live right behind Duggans - easy parking.

I was able to cruise/drive pretty easily going south from 14 mile all the way, and just byp***ed the plugged northbound side. Did the opposite from the other end where traffic locks up from 16 mile to 14 or so...

No drama, no overheating, no problems from a car that I ***embled & kind of abandoned in '94, was not operational until three weeks ago, had not gone more than 5 miles under its own power yet, and was last plated in 1968....

  9. Cindy and I cruised all day. Stoped and hung out at a few places along the way and had a great time. Usually where there was free food:D

Paying someone money to get a spot and sit and **** fumes all day in the hot sun is not my kind of fun.

It is what u make it.

    For us it was fun.

Before moving to Florida, I went to about half of the Dream Cruises. What a great show. 25,000-40,000 cars (including HAMB friendly) and a million or two spectators. Daytona Beach started a similar cruise last year in October (the last weekend) and will be run again this year. I'm planning on going the day before the Billitproof Drags in Lakeland.
