Not for a Traditional rod but for a Traditional Rodder. If you have access to one of these things and can help someone enjoy the weekend a little bit more, PLEASE let me know.

I figured that is what Rash was talking about. I didnt want to leave something at home just because Rash was calling something I had a different name than I do. In this case I will be of no help. <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">
Hey Rash, there is a company called Apria Home Health Care that has offices nation wide and might have a branch near the drags. If you get one from a home health company remember you will have to have a prescription for it from your Doc. If you go that route try to get everything in place between the company and your Doc before leaving. Also check into the portable liquid O2 cylinders and those portable tanks with the oxygen conservers. If you used a local home health for your concentrator at home ask them to help you work something out if they don't want to then I would switch to National company because they do this all the time. i'm a Registered Respiratory The****** and I used to own a Home Care. Good Luck Buddy! 48 Poncho
Used to have one for the Ol' man, but its gone since '03. Sorry buddy. We will have asthma inhalers there, the whole damned family has weak lungs. Keep an eye out for us if your buddy gets short on breath. I guess not exactly legal but extreme conditions call for extreme measures.
If you have one at home, put a power inverter in your ride (make sure it is big enough) and use the one from home. We did this for my father-in-law and he could cruise everywhere. Hope this helps. Kevin RodDoors
Rashy, I see Poverty Flats has chimed in. He works as a Delivery Tech for Apria Healthcare ( just like I did until I hurt my back) and if anybody can get you something going, it would be him. Apria is a huge compny, with branches all over the US. The problem, as I see it, is that the Oxygen concentrators run on 110 volt AC, with some pretty serious amperage draw, and finding electrical outlets at the track, might be difficult. You might consider a "Helios" which is a small, refillable Liquid O2 tank, which, with the demand-style regulator, could last someone on 3 liters a minute up to a week. I have delivered the liquid O2 tanks, and Helios unit, to places that were MILES from the nearest electrical outlet, and the people used them pretty much constantly for a week at a Mountain Man Rendevouz in the hills here, and when I went to pick it up, there was a good 1/3 tank left in the big one. If you can use a demand style regulator, instead of the constant flow one, you'll be saving a lot of O2. As folks have said, though, Oxygen is a doctor-prescribed drug, and without a prescription, you have zero chance of getting an O2 setup. If you are with a healthcare company like Apria now, just call your branch, and tell them what you're up to. Their business is making sure you have what you need, where you are, at the right time. Anyone that gives you a O2 tank, regulator and cannula, without a doctors prescription, is literally giving you illegal drugs. I've never heard of anyone being caught, or prosecuted, for that, but just something to keep in mind. Good luck, hope some of this can help.
If you are a customer of my company we don't charge for travel arrangements. We do charge for the rental of these cordless rechargeable concentrators because they cost about $5000-6000 to purchase. They are in demand because you are allowed to take them on an airline flight. But if you are with a local Mom and Pop provider instead of a big chain it is hard to make travel arrangements. Rashy knows I will help if I can. We have talked.
Oh, that's right; you get cordless Invacares and stair stepper machines, where you are. We were so Neanderthal here, the other Delivery Tech, who is 1/2 my age, is probably going to have to have back surgery now. Poverty Flats will take care of you, if you are a customer of the company he works for....
