When asking for opinions you need to accept them all since, well, you asked for it. I say the wheels lack imgination. I can understand the look, offset, rim diameter and width. 7s and 8s of that size rule on most anything. Ditch the centers and it's a beautiful thing, but that would cost more $$$. My taste woulda been those tire/wheel sizes in chrome with a thin whitewall bias ply, or painted with chrome accents and the tires you have.

Oh yeah, I don't have an opinion about you but asking for flames or flamers...

I think most people here say " NICE WHEELS" cus they are afraid to say whats REALLY on there mind.....

OR they are STREET RODDERS on the HAMB.

    I must ask ... REALLY ??? Chrome Chevy Rallys & Big *** Radials ?

Might Look good in TRUCK'IN magazine, But not a traditional wheel & tire Combo.

Just my opinion..... But they look CHEAP.

  5. Well, since the photos **** ***, I really can't see the ****ty wheels to p*** judgement anyway.

Damn it, given your demeanor, they must have really given you hell in your last thread. I say the wheels look good man, nice choice.

You ask for opinions about wheels and tires and don't really show what you have. Your old post was just as bad and then when people tried to explain you got all defensive. This is a TRADITIONAL board and if you don't want to fit in with that then go to another board. Rally wheels and big radials are NOT traditional and so yeah you will be flamed on here by many.
Personally I don't think it's all that bad. For me I wouldn't look twice at that combo, but at least it's not offensive. Looks like an old hillbilly style to me that didn't have the money for the right wheels that he really wanted. Regardless it doesn't fit in the Traditional World.

If you don't have a radiator yet and you plan on running a pressurized one, let me know. I just had one built and it works fine, but I think I'm going to go back to unpressurized and run Evans for my f/h powered '36 pick up. I'm down in San Antone with family in Dallas, so we could arrange a meet sometime if you are interested.

Neat truck, love the build and stance. The wheels are your choice, although in my opinion an early set of Halibrands or Americans will fit the stance. Just my 2C, Chrome looks good with black so WTF. Go with what works for you but remember Don't put Chevy Rally caps on it after all it is a Ford and it could confuse the unwashed.

    Sweet chrome rally wheels

  22. Great truck there. If it were me, I'd swap those wheels for some beer and bolt up somthing more "old timey". Solids with small caps or maby some full moons! I see a black '40 Ford truck running around here with a full set of moons - How sweet it is!
And make sure ya get good beer - no light stuff!!!!

So two other people point out misspellings and I'm the ***. OK, got it. At least I said I liked the wheels. Can't imagine why you've gotten flamed in the past.
