Customs 51 Merc VIN ??

Where is the VIN located on a 51 Mercury 2 door ????? HELP !!! It's NOT on the firewall or anywhere else I can find........

According to the Lincoln Mercury Overhaul Manual:

"On late 1950 and 1951 Lincoln and Mercury, the patent plate and the body plate are located on the right-hand front body hinge pillar."

With the hood open, you should see it on the p***enger side just under the A pillar.

its on the p***enger side of the frame rail where it splits. close to the firewall body mount

IF ONLY !!! It belongs to the guy that owns the lot where I work .. MIGHT be takin it to LEAD ......only things I don't like is the KIT and the taillights......
