Now that you bring that up...
Besides the BS lines on stuff shipped that took 3 more months to get, I had bought one of his ****** adapters to put a 700R4 on a Nailhead. Got it all together and in the car and went to start it up...sounded like a cat was caught in the gears and was going to ****ter cause the gear mesh was so bad. I pulled it all back apart and when I compaired the flex plate that Marty supplied in his kit to a stock one, his was approx 1/4 smaller in dia...WTF!!!

  6. no i never found anything linking you to hemi stuff when i shearched....and when i search your name, i get links to lots of forums that you are on stating that ya sell the stuff...but did not find anything to direct me to where to see it or price it or............besides i said i've been beatin the net,,,not searched the whole internet system....

a good product , at a realistic price, with good service.....this is generally what decides as to where i spend my cash........

everyone here beating this eelco **** to death...Hot Heads still has his valey covers listed,,,,,wonder if there have been issues geting one from them???would depend on if they have a stock of them, or do they have him ship it direct???at least i can go there and look at it..........price it.....and ask about it..........

    Have you tried O'Brien Truckers?
Dennis is an Alliance vendor on here and produces a lot of "the purty stuff" for Hemi's, just not sure about the 315/325.
Real nice product and a hell of a guy.
    Give him a call... http://www.obrientruckers.com/

I live 150 miles north of him. Bought some linkage and Eelco tank brackets that took weeks to receive. I could have walked there and back faster. Never again.........

I also had B.S. about shipping from him. Talked to him before ordering, said he'd ship soon as check arrived cause I was in a hurry and I live in the town he grew up in here in Michigan. 20 minute phone call, seemed like a cool guy. 2 weeks later I still had no parts show up but my check had been cashed the day after he got it!

So after lots of calls with no answer, I'm on another forum (car club) he frequents and see him put up a post ***led, "A little something I've been workin on... with my friend Darryl, of course" . It was a post about that last Darryl Starbird car that was restored, which I cant stand. He had just posted it and was still on line. So I shoot him a PM, "How bout my linkage? You been workin on gettin that shipped to me at all?" So we PM back and forth a bit and a week later my stuff shows up. I understand It's just he and his wife, but if you've got that much business that you cant take care of people, then hire someone to take care shipping etc.

The linkage I got ****s (6x2 progressive) had to re-work it and it's still not the greatest. Ya, less than happy here. Never again.

  12. FYI, I make the Dodge and DeSoto valve covers that Hot Heads sells and I'm an Alliance Vendor who gives you 10% off. I also have been making finned valley covers for all three Hemis for 20 years.

    Give me a call.

I'm still waiting on the lawsuit I was promised 4 years ago. Dude has a patent on intake risers, or so he says... I'm still waiting.

Been waiting 4 weeks for a linkage. Still nothing. Got the song and dance routine about the shipping also....supposed to be coming priority. One man operation or not, if somebody pays you money for a good or service, the good or service should be provided within a reasonable amount of time. 4 weeks is not reasonable in this day and age unless the part is a 1-off custom part. It's just bad business and there are no excuses. I know that I will be more careful about where I spend my money on the future. Unfortunately filed for a paypal refund. Just all around unhappy.

Wish some of these smaller companies would run themselves a bit more like Tom Langdon's stovebolt 6 company (another "one-man" operation). Stand up. Parts on time and as advertised. For you stovebolt guys, if you haven't done business with Tom, you should see his stuff and give him a try.

He is a flake to say the least. His address changes like the weather here in the Northwest.Give it five minutes & it will change.
