    Howdy!
Well we have found a Dodge tuff to p*** up.
This is an 1969 Dodge L600 and will be the Ramp truck for the shop. We have many ideas and will soon be remouving the flat bed and making some progress. I have been lucky enough to have a old family friend offer his help with the cad design of the deck along with computer aided fabrication of all the steel for the job.Currently it is powered by 318 but not for long.We just cant have any less than a 440 in our family. Dad is also looking to upgrade to 22.5 inch rims and replace the 10.00-20.0 split rims. I would be very interested in any pic's of this model. The only one I have ever seen is the T.V. Tommy's and even those pic's are not the best.
    Thanks
    Cody

  3. They make a 19 or 19.5 that would look pretty good on there.
    School buses run them.
The 22.5's look too big to me.

Cody, How's your truck coming? I have an L-600 that I put a rollback bed and a sleeper onto. I've just came across a set-up to put an Allison at-545 auto trans into the truck behind a 440. I use mine to transport an A-100 that I've prostreeted! Hope to hear from you soon Larry Gill, East China Mi.

  9. Nice ! Has anyone ever built a One-Ton version ? Wanting to strip down an old short wheelbase Dodge based Winnebago(Which i have) & using that running gear & cutting down an old A-108 van(also have) for the cab . I`m thinking a short flatbed for pulling the car-trailer & maybe a Fifthwheel. (yes i did my best to search here first . This thread is all i found )
