    Awesome, awesome stuff...thanks.

    Hey, what is this?

Diagonal 4 cylinder with dedicated exhaust runners feeding the blower (I think?) and offset rear banjo, some crazy power steering front axle setup(?!).... wow

Supercharged Austin 7 special. Mark Sange, Bolinas, CA. Cylinder on tie rod is damper.
We are building a similar car with offset driveline at Infineon Raceway (Sears Point, CA)
Thanks for the post Alan, first time in 4 years I have not been able to go.
Thanks for ignoring most of the goddam Porsches!!!!

If you can't get inspired by these parts and pieces, you can't get inspired. Great.

Thanks for taking such great pics. Always liked the Dekon Monza. I know that hot rod legend Doane Spencer was responsible in part for building them when he worked for Chris Cord. Anybody know anything else about them?

Jeem and I were wondering about the front axle setup (the small black bracket on the drivers side that attaches to the sleeve? on the axle not the dampener on the tie rod ) awesome pics and an awesome austin

Yeah, the damper (shock) is visible, but there is still the unit encomp***ing the tube axle?!

Seems the unit on the axle is just a mounting flange for the
dampener-body mounting bracket. Overly elaborate tho! The kingpin areas are also a bit over the top...............maybe an axle from something more exotic??

The dampener rod goes right thru the tubular body (black) and has a stop flange on the inboard end. A lot of sports bikes have this style dampener.
