I'm heading to NZ for about 2 weeks in mid October for work. I should have some spare time and thought it would be great to meet a few of you and take in some of the NZ rodding scene. ATM, I think most of my time will be spent at the RNZAF museum in Christchurch, with a few days in some of the smaller country areas on the south Island, and same on the North Island, exact location uncertain yet. So, any of you around the Christchurch area, and is there anything on mid October??
Hi Jimbob I am in Nelson which is on the top of the South Island. The Christchurch Vintage Car Club have their annual swapmeet on the 10th of October at McLeans Island which is only a stones throw away from the Airport. Should be something else happening around that time.

Looks like I'll be in Christchurch for the NSRA nats. I'll be working until about 5ish, so what will be doing during the evenings??

Looks like bad timing, unfortunately. There are a few events on Sunday, but nothing I know of on Saturday arvo.

32tub, I'll give you a buzz Sat arvo, about 4ish?? Staying in the 'Quest' apartments in Auckland, central city I guess?, on Sat night. Then off to Gisborn sunday night, Nelson Monday thru Wednesday, and finally Christchurch Thursday thru to Sunday 25th.
