Thanks for the concern guys. Turns out he decided to stay longer than we were under the impression. Our friend that we camped by left Wed after they helped him load up the bike and thought he was heading home so between that and his son and I expecting him home Wed, that's where the confusion showed up. He showed up while I was on the phone with the Tooele County Sheriff.

Get a cell phone again dammit Tom!

Hey, look at it like this.. You just found out that a lot of people, some of them your family and some strangers you have never met, care about and worry about you. That is oh so rare these days. You're a lucky guy.

Yeah, but a HAMBster would have had a 440 in that Valiant.

Good stuff....glad everythings ok. Reminds me of last year when my dad and I left the house at 5am to get a couple hours of fishing in the morning. We were up near Tahoe where there was no reception. Apparently mom got a little worried and phoned the sherrif about 8pm. (After all we were just going up for a few hours) Can't say we didn't see the ass ripping coming...but 15 hours of sitting in the boat near Tahoe bullshitting about hot rods and fishing with Dad. Worth every part of our asses we lost to our wives that night.
