Here are some pictures of my first hot rod I built. Completed all the woprk myself in the past year and now she is gone in for safety inspection. Has recently developed a bottom end rear engine knock on a rebuilt SBC 350 (I know it's likely a transplant rejection but....) Checked the main bearings and con rod bearings and all is well. Has 80psi oil pressure on startup runs and starts well. I would say it counds like a crank knock not a cam knock because it matches the rpm of the engine. Trying a standard oil pump to see if that fixes the problem. Any other ideas?
Yea flywheel bolts may be slightly loose. Had that happen to me when I switched longblocks in my 39 Chevy Coupe.
