I will put in the diary.

  5. I take note that they "requested" those dates. Sounds like it's still tentative untill the powers that control things in Wendover, USA give their blessings.

Probably no surprise to those in the know, I checked online for room availability at the Wendover Nugget... No rooms available. Is it even possible to get a room somewhere?

Hey, I have a tough time getting my message where it needs to be on your website. Can you please make it known to your buddies that we are still willing and able to house people for salt events? We've had some people stay and feel that they have been very pleased with the accomodations. Thanks again, Brian

If you're interested -- it's a real house, and you'd have access to more comforts than you'll find at a motel. Give a call if you'd like - and let us know (back here on the Forum) what you discover, hokay?

The plan was for jack Vines to run the Packard/Vega at WoS. He got a pickup to tow the car with and last week it blew a head gasket somewhere between Reno and Truckee. So he had to have it sent back to Spokane. It's a Ford/IH Diesel and expensive and time consuming to fix. So now we are looking at World Finals in Oct.

Yeah but I think T man is coming to help us crew on the Strange Days Belly tank.

  18. The Prez says we have to go, besides, you can drink a beer watching golf or LSR cars;)

Plus these guys said I could hang out and look usefull:eek:

The bad thing is that Sturgis keeps us slammed at work and the Rally ends the opening weekend of Bonneville. I think I can pull it off tho.

  19. See you there Tman! I got a ride, and maybe get to pretend I'm a useful part of a crew:rolleyes:
