    I just had PER do a bunch of block work and assemble a bottom-end for me. They are friendly and knowledgeable, and it looks like they did a thorough job.

    A big clean shop full of old guys, which inspires some confidence in me.

    The down side, is that it took about a month longer than they said it would-- But I figure that's par-for-the course when having cars worked on.

    Also, not cheap. But thorough.

  4. I would have to say P.E.R. is a great shop. They did a 460 long block for me a while back
    -good quality machining and parts at a very reasonable price; quick turn-around as well.
    Will have them balance my early Olds next.....
