1951 Henry J Gasser HAMB find UPDATE

I bought this Henry J today,I thought I'd post some pics.

No plans yet.I found it in the classifieds here but it was only 20 minutes from my house.

Awesome Buy, I keep looking for one in the PNW, my son is named Henry J and i have the henryJ script like the emblem tattoo'ed on my arm for him.

I know most will have a Chevy of some kind but I have very vivid memories of a street Henry J that ran an early Cadillac with factory dual quads back in the middle 60s

My dad used to call his "Henry J" his "Henry Junk" was this a common nickname?

 

I changed the front wheels,Now I'm getting ready to put in a 283 with a 4 speed.

 

there was one for sale locally here in the Bay Area too..

I set the engine in and welded the front engine mounts in.Here's what it will look like with the engine.

 

Can I have the old wheels?????? I love those.
