interesting question......
byrd= another name for girl mainly, but i do have some ties with some trads here. good group of guys actually....for those who dont know of the traditional skinheads> these are the non racist kind...mainly into music/friends and working hard! to sum it up. so please dont be freaked out with that question. there are many types of skinheads out there!

if i had to be labled i guess i would be( this is what my staff came up with since i like so many diff things)=
new wave/modkat/psychobilly/skinbyrd...hehehe.>..new wave cause i lived through the 80's, modkat cause i like vespas, psychobilly cause i like rockabilly abd psychobilly sounds, and skinbyrd since my friends and my guy are trads.
i think it fits me just fine!!! ok, and i like some 80's sounds too.

 

a simple yes would of been fine also, it sounds by what you said you are a fraid of people thinking youre racist

 

well, true....i am a little wordy i guess. sorry. and yes i do worry about people thinking the worst. i never knew there were so many types of skins out there. i was taught they were all nazi. so i am protective i guess now that i know. just spreading what i know to those who dont.

 

i was the same way people would always ask me "are you racist" every where i went some where then i would have to explain to them that i wasnt then one day about 3 years ago i got fed up and some one asked me and i said yes just so they would leave me alone and sence that day no one has ever asked me and i never felt i had to explain my self

 

people never looked at me and thought i was, but with my chelsea i had a lot of issues with customers(parents mainly)
and if we were out as a group we had a few confrintations. good for you though! east tx is hard to deal with closed minded people....at least for me it is.

I had a Vespa; I've worn combat boots; I listen to first wave ska;I shave my head.
I've had to deal with stupid questions since I first shaved it in highschool and I'm a freakin' Mexican (really-like 3rd generation)
Now I'm just balding shaving my head makes sense!
(course I grow it out for the winter-gets cold in Austin )
