Hot Rods ''A'' progress and Frame shots too

I've taken the body off my frame again, as I needed to do some work on my frame and running gear.I never liked the front ladder bar mount I'd made, so I cut the bugger out and made up some new ones far nicer I think.I'm also going to remount the rear shocks in a more normal spot, behind the rear axle.I've mounted the Bellhousing that Gotzy gave me and Thanks to Squirrel for his advice on that score, but luckily it was an early truck bellhousing so it has the smaller centre hole in it, so no issues with the T5 being to lose in the hole!(Oh ERR!)I now need to make a new gearbox mount up too, that bit of wood just ain't gonna cut it!I've also started to fill in the holes drilled in the front of the frame, as I was never that happy with 'em.
I needed to fill one hole on each side in, as its where the front shock mounts want to live.I also plan on making a panhard bar for the rear.I now need to make a bracket up to take a clutch slave cylinder as the cast bellhousing does not have a mount for one, I've seen pictures of a kit you can buy so I'll do me own version.I've dropped my Dizzy in the hole too(Thanks to Gotzy again), I now know I'll have to notch the firewall to clear it, but that ain't no big problem.I'm sure more issues will rear their ugly heads as I get more in to the frame work, but thats Hot Rodding ain't it?Thanks for lookin'

Been waiting for an update on this one ,Nick.Looking good.
Mines dismantled in the corner of the workshop at the moment.Had to use the frame to build a chassis table/jig.Hopefully putting it back together soon.
So is it chopped or not?I'm getting confused.Mind you,that's not difficult!

 

Mark, It ain't chopped yet, but it WILL be soon! I have to do this one chopped whilst I can still get in the bloody thing, I ain't gettin' younger!!!

I'm gonna have to remove some leaves from the rear spring, can anybody recomend how many I should pear it down to? I've got a ten leaf spring in there at the moment, what do y' reckon six or seven I was thinking along the lines of?
