I would second the taildragger , skirts, Westergard look . Seems a natural for this treatment with out a lot of work.

I like it, something you don't see everyday. The possibilities are endless.

I dig it! The headlights are cool looking, and the whole car looks to be in great shape considering it's 70 years.

I agree Ugly. But before you all crucify me, it can be saved LOL With some body m***ages, skirts and different headlights (barf) that could be a cool cruiser.

Neat-o. I'm one of the 99.9999% Bruce mentioned who couldn't identify that car. Plus, had I seen one I would've ***umed somebody installed some weird aftermarket headlights in it at one time. Now I know:D

Thanks for pointing that out. I knew as soon as I saw it that it wasn't a Hudson and the Nash is surely a better looking car than this 39 Hudson .....

Seriously... I think this is the way to go. What a great non-custom custom!

I can picture it myself, on the ground with wide whites, skirts, sombreros, Lincoln bumpers and deep non-metallic maroon paint. What a show-stopper!

PS: I saw her, too. But did anybody pick up on the hungry expression on the Nash coming towards her? :p:p:p Excellent example of early subliminal advertizing.

Was raining all day yesterday during the auctiona and while I loaded the car. Better today for pictures! Here are some of it still on the trailer. The car also came with the original engine freshly rebuilt (hopefully can sell that!)

  14. There's alot of character in that body- NOT ugly in the slightest!

  15. Look at the accent line down the trunk...that's cool. Looks to be in great shape too.

I hope you got a super deal on it.

Seriously *****in' sedan. Like that crease down the deck lid. Skirt it and drop it. The rest of the car speaks for itself.

Here's the dreaded question that everyone who buys a car and posts it on here. Would you mind sharing what you paid? No big deal, but I can ***ure you I'm not the only one who is curious, just the first one with so little cl*** that I actually ask.:)

Hate to give the exact number as I now have four "projects" and may want to sell it. And that always makes a problem (not that it should matter). But I will tell you I paid less than $3,000.

  21. Looks like a great project in super shape for a more than reasonable price. Cool car.
