aluminum roof cars

    what cars came with a aluminum rear window roof section it's a late 20's early 30's with crazy ohv straight 6 or 8 motor ( forgot to count cly) the body is 4 door sedan

    Hey,

    Some of the early coachbuilt Packards, Buicks and Pierce Arrows had rear aluminum panels. The ones' Pierce used were cast aluminum!

    Lots of cars of that era had aluminum roofs. My '24 Dodge Brothers is one, but it a four cylinder.

    Some Essex autos had aluminum rear panels.

    I once saw an old Lincoln Zephyr in a south Atlanta junkyard that obviously had the rear aluminum bodywork torched off, probably during a WW2 metal drive. I assume it was some coachbuilt custom. Sad.

    well im going to try to get it i looks a lot like a Pierce Arrow i'll see what the guys price is and i'm not going to lie i'll flip it and see if i can make some money to build the durant i have had my eye on
