I know this is a group of good guys on here but I just wanted to post this.Also i have no hard feelings about this,i just want to get this on the site and maybe it won't happen to someone else.... I posted a wanted ad for a item.I have been busy,but i did get on here and check for PM's and my emails.The other day i went to bump the ad and someone posted they had the item i was wanting.I sent a pm to that person and they had already sold it to another member that ask about it on my ad.So all i want to say is please be kind to your fellow HAMB members. Respect the ads please,I would never do that to anyone myself out of respect.I stated to PM or email me direct and the PM i received back today saying he had sold it, for less than i was willing to pay (at least half) so it ended up being a bad deal for us both... You left out the exact number of days/weeks that you failed to check on your ad. The reason I say that is that some people in this economy need to sell their parts quickly. If it was sold to the other guy in the same day, that would be in poor taste.

I think what he was saying is instead of the guy emailing him to tell him he had the part,he emailed to say it was sold,when he could have sold it for twice as much, to someone who had asked if it became available to email him.
Well if teh "wanted rules " are same as rest of cl***ifieds,,person should PM a reply,,if posted,,snipers are out there and such things happen.

OK. You posted on the 26th of JULY and the guy posted on your ad on the 27th. You don't look until 20 AUGUST and you are pissed? OK, I understand, you said PM or email. The mods say it, too. There is a little thing called a subscription. Do it and you get an email that says you got a reply to your post. I just got a notification from a post I did months ago and had forgotten about on another site because I subscribed. Do it and save yourself some drama and hard feelings.
What the hell is a telephone? All I have is the Internet and Cellular Phone. jkjk. But in reality yeah check your posts and hell if you get sniped it happens, just bump your wanted ad as appropriate per the HAMB rules.-Weeks
