YES, big thanks to Ryan (glad to finally get to meet you in person) and Marcie (whom I met last year), Karl and the MO-KAN crew, Rob and the entire staff at the Holiday Inn, and every single HAMBer that in whatever way makes this event truly one of a kind.

A personal thanks to my lovely wife Terry, Chris (rustyford1), Dale, and Reggie (organgrinder) for pitching in to help with the Vagabond Brat feed this year. And to everyone who stopped by to have a brat and chat. We served about 300 brats and met a ton of great people, raised enough money to do it again next year and then some.

Like we always say, "We take donations but if you're hungry and broke, no problem, have a brat!"

I even got to visit with my favorite Oklahoma pals--Chadillac and Toast. Not to mention Nebraskans -- Rob Lee and Sololobo. You just can't find good people like that everywhere!

The party/car show and getting to see the Rumblejetts Friday night was a blast. The drag races were just icing on the cake. Took a ton of pics. When I upload them i'll post a link.

hey - it was cool seeing you again - sorry I lost ya after you got inspected..........seems that is the way the entire night went - you see someone - then you see the next people you have not seen in a while..........and before you know it - its midnight!

cant wait to see the new ride next year!

Yeah, it was great to see you again and talk a bit. It was the same at the track. I figured I'd wander across your booth and spend a little (ok, very little cause of the digger) but once the racing started I got a little distracted. Great folks and great cars!

Thanks to everyone who took the time to post pictures. Almost (but not quite) like being there.:) Every year it's the same story for me, think about it, make preliminary plans, looks good until right about time to go, the bottom falls out and I'm a "no show":( So, next year for sure.............right:rolleyes:

My grandson had just recently lost his father in Iraq. My daughter and I took him to this event to brighten his spirits and elevate his mood. It worked!
H A M Bers have to be the friendliest bunch of hot rodders I ever been around. We drove 10 hours to see this wonderful event. Thanks again!
