Hello all out there in HAMB-land. I love all the pictures posted of cars and interesting history. I saw these cars at an old gas station up north in Maine and was able to snap a few shots to share. Thanks to all who post pictures and take the time to help out .. I appreciate it.

there used to be a 50 Shoebox setting under the awning at an old store here in Douglasville, I know it sat there for over thirty years...the old lady died and who ever got the place sold it... wish I had taken a picture

These types of photos are the best. I'd rather look at shots like this than galleries of show cars - regardless of types. Thanks for posting.

From the road the building looks like it is filled with cool stuff.. There wasn't anyone around.. so I didn't get too close... I don't like it when people get close to my stuff when I am not around .. so I don't do it to them. I only get up there once a year.. Stuff that has been around for many years has started to disappear so I decided to take pictures in case this stuff goes away.. I have driven past this spot for at least 5 years and it hasn't changed much. I never have much time to dig deeper as it is either on the way to vacation.. can't wait to get there.. or on the way home from vacation.. have to get back quick.

Those should be saved. They are cool to look at though.

  15. Look through the windows and you can see a Pennzoil sign, and at least 2 other gas pumps in there. The broken window on the left has 3 or 4 old signs patching the missing gl***...

I have some photos that I'll have to add tonight... My work computer is configured kind of weird and I can't upload stuff from a CD.
