Vacuum Wiper Motor

    Couple of hopefully basic questions. This is a Trico pulled out of my '60 Ford F100.
    There are two places for hoses to attache one on the top to the left which had a hose attached through the vacuum/fuel pump from the manifold, and one on the bottom that I have no idea where it goes or if it is a drain.

    I was just going to clean out all the old grease and grim and re-grease it. Is there a grease that is better for this job? I was thinking a silicon or graphite spray in the chamber would better help the flange moving than grease. Is that retarded?

    And finally would it be beneficial to use some type of silicon seal when I put it back together? The gasket is in decent shape.
